Species number (TNS): 778. Fore wing length: 25–32 mm. Distribution and seasonality: Restricted to the Dandenong and Yarra Ranges east of Melbourne in Victoria. Adults occur from late September to January. Notable localities: Olinda Golf Course (S. & T. Corbin); Toolangi (N., C. & D. Emery). Habitat: Found in tall open forest in assocation with Mountain Ash (Eucalyptus regnans). Calling song and behaviour: Simple clicking emitted at a rate of 3–4 per second. Similar species: Subalpine Firetail.
