Species number (TNS): 016. Fore wing length: 32–39 mm. Distribution and seasonality: Southern central Western Australia from Paynes Find east to near Menzies and north to near Sandstone. Adults have been found in January and February. Notable localities: 110 km south of Mount Magnet (M.S. Moulds). Habitat: Found in association with eucalypts, grevilleas and wattles in sparse woodland shrubland communities. Calling song and behaviour: A course, whining buzz. Adults occur on tree trunks and limbs. Similar species: Eastern Sandgrinder, Perth Sandgrinder.
