Species number (TNS): 793. Fore wing length: 14–16 mm. Distribution and seasonality: South Australia in the area between Marree and Hawker, extending west to near Roxby Downs, and near White Cliffs in New South Wales. Adults occur from late December to early February. Notable localities: Puttapa Gap near Leigh Creek (A. Stolarski). Habitat: Chenopod shrublands. Calling song and behaviour: A high-pitched whine. Adults sit on Saltbush (Atriplex sp.) or Bluebush (Maireana sp.). Similar species: Pale Spinifex Cicada.
