Species number (TNS): 132. Fore wing length: 21–29 mm. Distribution and seasonality: Found from north of Cooktown south to Paluma in north-eastern Queensland. Adults occur from October to March. Notable localities: Cape Tribulation, Kuranda, Lamb Range. Habitat: Rainforest and wetter eucalypt or she-oak forest. Calling song and behaviour: A buzzing call, sung in bursts of up to 12 seconds. Occasionally, a longer pulsing call is produced. Colour variation: Specimens vary in colour from blue-green to brown. Similar species: Kuranda Bunyip, Tablelands Bunyip.
